The Transatlantic Dislocation

For the past many decades, it was a given that the USA and Europe along with certain other countries were on the same side of any global issue. This was certainly made sure, especially in large-scale international events, especially wars, this is the reason why NATO was formed and strengthened. In the last 72 hours, this is facing some level of dislocation post Ukraine President's visit to USA.

The USA certainly has taken a stand where Ukraine's President needs to apologise and work towards ending the war. European and other countries as the term is coined Coalition of the Willing, have shown support to continue the fight with USA support.

Do the differences drag further and turn into an ideological difference where NATO strength gets into focus? Or Will it be resolved soon as the Transatlantic conference is due mid of this month? Before that the EU emergency summit takes place this week that might have defence and Ukraine support-related announcements to reduce tensions.

All these movements are occurring in such a quick succession, that keeping the status quo is getting difficult. These dislocations will be reflected in the financial markets locally and globally as countries deal with such drastic changes.
